A suggestion has been made to introduce
(A) Doubles into the league structure. It would mean that on a night a match would be 5 singles and two doubles. The doubles would carry 2 points for a win.
(B) It was also suggested we should get rid of the rule which forbids players talk during the doubles.
The committee would be interested in people thoughts on this approach.
This will be presented at the next AGM for a formal decision to be made about the suggestion
